A good screenwriter could have told us why Snoke didn’t matter with a few lines of dialogue.

The script did not have a good screenwriter.

One more thing because I’m still upset.

Snoke says the most important line of the entire trilogy, “Darkness rises, and light to meet it,” then is killed as an afterthought.

When  you  give  serious  dialog  to  characters  you  do  not  treat  seriously,  the  audience  will  not  take  the  dialogue  seriously
